This project was spear headed by Don West after he saw Dale's working condition after driving Dale home after one of our meetings. Dennis Milbrandt headed up a committee and was helped by Dale Hildebrand and Rod Spence. They scrounged up many donations of building materials, and on Saturday September 24, committee members supported by Wilf Talbot, Don West, John Neville-Smith, Vern Steinbrecker, and Carl Smith met for a work bee and changed the shed into a nice turning place, with a donated skylight, flourescent lighting, insulation, dry wall etc, including a ramp for Dale's wheel chair. Don West also donated 45 pen kits with blanks, hardware and mandrel and bits to Dale.
We are all indebted to Don West for his foresight and Dennis Milbrandt for his leadership in getting the project completed. Dale is a "Happy Camper".
Dale is storing one of our new Maxi Demo Lathes and one of the One-Way Chucks.

25%. Last year this nearly covered cost of rent, and supplies. As our rent
is higher this year, we would like to see sales around $5,000. Get your thinking
hats on and start producing sale items. If new members would like to learn
what sells, we suggest you contact Jim Osenton, or Dave Beeman, or Jack Whitworth
or other members of your choice.
